Why?
The main reason
Why do we run a business that is really hard work, is exposed to volatile and unpredictable foreign exchange markets (not to mention Florida hurricanes), is based on the 3rd floor of an old building on the slightly unpredictable side of Clapham and has 250,000 customers a year to keep ecstatically happy? Why? Because we love it.
We love not having meetings for the sake of it and big egos to contend with. We love working in a relaxed environment and selling great products and striving to be our best. We love our people and their attitude and we love making our customers happy. We love having our voices heard and making a difference and we love not being told what to do by people who talk in business jargon.
The commercial reason
When we started the business in 2002, the internet was in its infancy (it still is in many ways) and there was a gap in the market for a customer focused company to start selling attraction tickets online
The benefits of selling attraction tickets online a is that customers feel very comfortable purchasing them plus the suppliers never run out of supply. A bit like buying a CD, commodatized products such as theme park tickets are perfect to promote and sell online because everyone knows what to expect. Customers don't need to touch or feel it - they just need to have confidence that they are going to receive exactly what they have paid for and that we will deliver when we say we will.
Add to that the fact that our average transaction value is high and there are around 1 million Brits who travel to Orlando every year, and that we have the backing of three of the biggest blue chip names in world entertainment; Disney, Universal and SeaWorld, results in a winning formula.
